The Distance Education office (formerly known as the CATE office) at Santa Rosa Junior College hosts SRJC's online classes as well as Web-based materials created for face-to-face classes by SRJC faculty. Here's what you need to do to get started in your online classes at SRJC, and also face-to-face classes for which instructors provide mandatory or optional Web-based materials. 1. Enroll at SRJC and register for classes as usual. 2. When your class begins, find the class homepage and check your status, or look for the link in the schedule of classes or in your Cubby. 3. Depending on whether your instructor is using CATE, Moodle, or something else, details about accessing your class will vary. Classes using CATE will almost always require you to check in before you can begin; classes using Moodle don't require check-in. 4. Follow directions provided by your instructor at your class website. 5. If you have questions about the class or how to access it, see links below, or contact the instructor.
