The Task: Ensure that your browser is capable of handling the CATE courseware package

Shortcomings in older versions of various browsers as well as some user configurations and certain kinds of security software can make it difficult or impossible to use some features critical to creating and maintaining class websites in the CATE system. This page attempts to automatically detect your environment, operating system, browser, browser version, and javascript settings. If it finds any problems or potential problems, they'll be reported below.

If you see any warning messages below, please read them carefully and follow the advice to upgrade your environment and/or update your browser and/or enable your javascript before attempting to use the CATE courseware system.
