I find great joy to be a part of SRJC. I work amidst inspiring administrators, counselors and staff who have a vision to support students now and for the future. My goal is to create a welcoming environment so new, returning and continuing students will find encouragement and direction while pursuing their chosen educational and career goals.

As part of participatory governance at the college, I serve as Chair for the Second Chance Support Team and classified representative for the Scholarship Committee. The Second Chance Support Team meets monthly to discuss best practices for formerly incarcerated students and the Scholarship Committee meets quarterly.

I also am an active member of the local union in order to support a living wage, employee benefits and fair working conditions.
