Biography

    I have been teaching and facilitating classes at Santa Rosa Junior College since 1996. I spent most of my adult life in Sonoma County but now live just north of Dallas, Texas. I feel very fortunate to be able to teach at SRJC, despite the fact I live in Texas. I currently only teach online courses but hope to get back into the classroom at some point.

    I enjoy learning and try to take a few classes every semester to keep my skills current. I have completed many of the Adobe classes and am currently working on my Master's Degree in Education, with an emphasis in Learning and Technology.

    Work and Consulting Experience

      I have over 20 years of business experience in the fields of accounting, finance, human resources and payroll. Most recently I was the Human Resources Manager of a company based in Petaluma, where I oversaw all human resources functions including, payroll, workers' compensation, employee benefits, organizational development, training and recruitment.

      I also own a business called By-Design Computer Consulting which specializes in computer software training, marketing, database management, account management and graphic design.
