Biography

Sheryl Cavales Doolan was raised in the Pacific Northwest before settling in Sonoma County. After graduating from Rancho Cotate High School, she attended Santa Rosa Junior College and graduated with her AA degree. She then transferred to Sonoma State University where she earned first her Bachelor's and then Master's degrees in English. Both during her education and after graduation, Ms. Cavales Doolan worked extensively in writing centers at both the university and community college levels. She is currently an English Instructor and the Writing Center Coordinator at SRJC.
