Biography

Tad Wakefield is a Cal alum who appreciates Sonoma County's natural beauty and distinctiveness. In his free time, which is limited since he has two small children, he enjoys hanging out in coffeehouses reading literature and current events.  Tad's favorite playwright is August Wilson, and his favorite newspaper is the Wall Street Journal.

Tad's interests within literature include film theory, American realism, modernism, postmodernism and the "new realism" of American drama.  His specialty is twentieth-century American drama, and Tad enjoys going to the theater when time permits.

Tad has many varied interests besides literature which include general history, behavioral economics & psychology, technology, and international affairs; he loves traveling, going to concerts and plays, and enjoying his newest hobby: hiking.
