The California state-wide Academic Senate has provided this special site for Curriculum Committee regulations, issues, etc. Here is a fabulous wealth of information on how the Academic Senate view curriculum from the state perspective. There are links to REGULATIONS & GUIDELINES, CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT (including model course outlines), TRANSFER (Articulation Handbook), GOOD PRACTICES IN CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT (good practices, distance education, implementation), SAMPLE COURSE OUTLINES, CURRICULUM COMMITTEES, and RESOURCE MATERIALS. Here is a comprehensive site to the California law known as "California Education Code." We are found under Title 3. "PostSecondary Education," Division 7 "Community Colleges" which is a long scroll about 80 percent of the way!

Google is an excellent search engine. Try typing in the key words of your course, and you may find another course pop up in at another California college. Note there is an "advanced search" if you want experiment with refining your search.
