|  Anatomy is the study of the structure of the human body. Most students study Anatomy with the goal of becoming an allied health professional, such as a paramedic, nurse, or dental hygienist. Students at SRJC have outstanding resources for the study of Anatomy, including numerous models and organ prosections. Students in the more advanced Anatomy course dissect human cadavers as part of their laboratory experience. Following is a list of all anatomy courses taught in the department. Many of these courses are taught every semester, but be sure to check the current schedule for specific courses and locations. Each course number is linked to its specific description. Note that ANAT 40 and 140 are combined anatomy and physiology courses.
